Welcome to Colourscape Jewellery!

We are Gilly and Mike - and have been making jewellery together for over 20 years. Our success has been to produce strong and wearable designs that are free from fashion.

Many of you are already customers and have seen us regularly throughout the years at Craft Events, County Shows and Folk Festivals. Since our move to Spain in 1999, the chance to see us has become limited to a very short Summer season. With our website we can now provide an all year service again - hurray!

This website is a massive thank you to all those who have tried, tested and loved our work.......and we hope, an opportunity for those who haven't, to do so.

About Us

Colourscape Jewellery began over 20 years ago in the South of England, with numerous Craft Fairs and Markets in Dorset, Somerset, Hampshire and Avon. You may have seen us at Wells Market or Bath Green Park Station Market or in the Pump Rooms, Bath. Guildhall Craft Events at Winchester, Salisbury and Bath soon became regular venues for us, along with the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), Poole Arts Centre and Bristol Watershed. We also spent many Bank Holiday weekends in Craft Marquee Events in the grounds of Gatcombe Park, Sherborne Castle, Somerly House, Chettle House and Kingston Lacy.

As we grew, so did the size of the events. You may remember us from Bath Flower Show, Bristol FS, Salisbury FS or from our local County Shows at The Bath & West, Devon & Exeter and Royal Cornwall.

If you did see us at any of these events, we hope you remember a kaleidoscope of colour and a warm welcome!

The 90's Folk Revival introduced us to Folk Festivals (and other music festivals), and these became and remain our favourite venues. They have included Winchester Folk Festival and Hat Fair, Chippenham FF, Wimborne FF, Glastonbury Festival, Womad Festival, Guildfest, Larmer Tree FF, Christchurch FF, Priddy FF, Bromyard FF, Pontardawe FF, Swanage FF and many more.

In 1999 we were lucky (or crazy!) enough to buy a beautiful old village house in Southern Spain, realizing a long-held dream. We have spent much of the last 10 years re-building this house and consequently, less time each year in England, ending up with a very short Summer Season of Folk Festivals.... Warwick FF, Sidmouth FF, Broadstairs FF, Towersey FF and Whitby FF (when we can).

To all of you who have missed us - a huge thank you for all your support through the years and.... YES! we are still going strong!! We now have an even bigger colour range, new designs and, thanks to technology, - a way of bringing it all into your home!!
